Haiku Friday: Sesame Street!

I'm not sure why I have been thinking about Sesame Street these days, but maybe that is just part of it being summer.

There are plenty of haiku opportunities there!  Here, I will go first:

What was up with Bert?
He always seemed upset,
And so so yellow!

Now it is your turn!  Just make it 5/7/5 on the syllable count, and have some fun...

Comments:
That video brought me great joy.

Linus, good muppet
Loves his blanket very much
Dances with Snoopy!

1) Pentatonix is amazing! We didn't know about them until they appeared on Sesame Street -- yet another cool thing our baby has exposed us to. If you like that video, you should check this out too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lExW80sXsHs

2) And now for haiku:

I tried to decide
Which muppet I most look like
But ... I'm all of them!

Reminding us it's
not easy being green since
nineteen sixty-nine

Mr. Hooper's great store
I want to go back there, please
Good penny candy.

Burt and Ernie are
A couple of nice guys so,
Don't ask and don't tell.

Japanese whiskey
Plum sake with rose petals --
On Sesame Street?

Snuffleupagus:
Big Bird's imaginary,
fluffy mammoth friend.

When Kermit sings of
songs about rainbows, I cry.
How's that for sappy?

HE WAS "ELMO"

OY! perennial
Toddler,fast-talking,machine-
Gun giggle,mind and

Spirit big...red! He:
always up for a tickle--
Both hands open,waits

For the good to come
Inevitably.Who would
know that under red

Fuzzy skin,lay a
Deep,inconsolable well,
Such black trumped red.

I wish I had one
Last tickle,one last wise ass
Mimic,one kiss to

Stay your hand.I wish,
I wish,I wish.Robin,I'm
Gonna miss ye,Lad!

Porcine bulk she's
Kissable and curled luscious like
Mae West and throws her

Pearls and hips before
Frogs.Falsetto caresses,
"O Kermie!" Ruthless

When defied or at
The mere mention of bacon
Boa'd,never boring.

Not fraidy,like Wilbur
This is a pig in charge.Born
To bling.Chutzpah, thy

Name is Miss Piggy.
Gimmee some sugah,Sausage!
